Management seeks to meet overall goals and targets. To do this the performance and contribution of each person in the organisation needs to be organised. The objective of this training session is to further develop your management ability.
Who will the Course Benefit?
This course is designed for managers with some previous experience seeking to improve their personal skills of maximising the performance of their staff.
What is the aim?
After the training, delegates will be able to:
Optimise section or departmental output by managing individual performance;
Explain the key factors which affect performance;
Set and agree performance targets;
Monitor ongoing performance;
How to form a unified team that achieves your objectives.
Delegate tasks to individuals and teams.
Communicate confidently and positively with team members and senior colleagues.
Use appropriate techniques to motivate and develop individuals within your team.
How to deal with people problems appropriately, quickly, and professionally,
Use a range of approaches to manage different levels of performance;
Plan individual and/or team development programmes;
How will I learn this?
Within a workshop style you’ll analyise case studies and explore how situations have occurred, consider the individuals involved and look at how action plans can be drawn from this experience to be used in your own business.
Before completing the programme you will be invited to develop an action plan so that you can immediately apply what you have learnt. This Advantedge Training Programme starts at 09.00 with Coffee for an immediate start by 09.30. It will be completed by 16.30. There will be a 30 minute break for a light lunch.
