BIIAB National Certificate for Door Supervisors (SIA Approved)

The award consists of two units of 15hrs each:

   The aim of the award is provide the learner with the knowledge and skills required to apply for a licence to practice from the Security Industry Authority.

   • All Door supervisors working at licensed premises in England and Wales are required to hold an SIA licence.
   • In order to obtain a licence, applicants must hold an SIA approved qualification.
   • The BIIAB National Certificate for Door Supervisors is a nationally recognised qualification that meet the demands of the industry standard and enables door supervisors to apply for their SIA licence to practise.
   • Holders of a valid BIIAB National Certificate for Door Supervisors are also eligible to apply for their SIA licence to practise security guarding.
