Introduction:
Bullying and Harassment is an emotive and high profile element of people management. There have been a number of cases in the last 12 months that have resulted in significant compensation awards. The aim of this session is to understand the concepts and explanations of what may constitute bullying or harassment and develop appropriate communication and interpersonal tools to prevent people management situations from evolving into bullying or harassment claims.
The session will give you the tools to observe and recognise behaviour in yourself and others that could lead to allegations of bullying and harassment, and give you the skills to manage interpersonal relationships effectively and fairly.

An ability to develop the communication skills necessary to manage difficult/ sensitive meetings effectively (Addressing specific incidents and interviewing individuals)

Identify management techniques for improving performance without increasing vulnerability to bullying or harassment claims
