C&G 1884 Certificate in Conflict Management

The award consists of 1 unit with 3 outcomes:

1. The assessment of the risk from violence both proactively, in examining the environm

   The aim of the award is to develop the learners knowledge and skills so they can assess their work environment and reduce the risk of being subjected to violence, deal effectively with conflict and aggression and learn from an incident of work related vio

   The recommended guided learning hours for this award is 10hrs (usually over 2 days).  However, it is possible that those with a basic understanding of the practices and principles of conflict mangement will be able to cover the content of this qualification in 1 day of 7-8 guided learning hours.   A handbook is provided for candidates reference prior to the start of the course.

   Anyone working with the public, for example those working in hospitals, medical centres, transport, retail, pubs, restaurants, hotels, leisure industry, schools, etc.
