The aims of the award are 1) To promote good practices in the care industry, 2) To meet the requirements laid down by TOPSS and the National Care Standards Commission

This award is designed to be carried out at work and should link in with employers induction and foundation programmes.

All care workers needing to meet the new Induction and Foundation Care Standards.
