  The aim of this award is to provide candidates with the underpinning knowledge that will enable them to subscribe to a health and safety management system.

  The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 makes us all responsible for workplace health & safety.  Good health and safety standards rely on employers and employees working together.  This first level course incorporates fundamental occupational health and safety knowledge for all employees that will enable them to contribute to any health and safety management system.
